Eligibility Criteria
1. 9th Food Analyst Examination 2023 (9th FAE 2023)
Essential Educational Qualification: The candidate willing to apply for 9th Food Analyst Examination 2023 (9th FAE 2023) should hold a-
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree or Doctrate Degree in Chemistry, or Biochemistry, or Microbiology, or Diary Chemistry, or Agricultural Science, or Animal Science, or Fisheries Science, or Bio-technology, or Food safety, or Food Technology, or Food and Nutrition, or Diary Technology, or Oil Technology, or Veterinary Sciences from a university established in India by law or is a associate of the institution of Chemists (India) by examination in section of Food Analyst conducted by Institution of Chemists (India).
Experience: Minimum 3-Years' experience in Food Analysis in any ISO: 17025 accredited Food Testing Laboratories or Research Institutions or Research Laboratories after attaining the minimum essential academic qualification as stated above for 9th FAE 2023.
Age Limit: No age limit for 9th FAE Exam 2023
2. 6th Junior Analyst Examination 2023 (6th JAE 2023)
Essential Educational Qualification: The candidate willing to apply for 9th Food Analyst Examination 2023 (9th FAE 2023) should hold a-

- Negative Marking: 25% Marks will be deducted for every wrong answer

Importnat Note
- All the questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) type
- Four Marks will be awarded for each correct answer and one marks (1/4th) will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- The FAE and JAE candidates should secure a minimum of 40% marks to qualify CBT.
- The candidates of FAE 2023 who qualify the CBT will be eligible to appear for Practical Examination. Date, Venue and Syllabus for Practical Examination will be intimated separately.
- The candidates of JAE 203 who qualify the computer based test (CBT) will be awarded Certificate as Qualified Junior Analyst. JAE qualified candidates will be allowed to appear for practical examination for FAE, only after obtain a requisite experience of 3 years in food analysis. This opportunity is available to qualify JAE only once in a life time.
