Eligibility Criteria
The candidates willing to apply for this above stated post must have the Graduation Degree (in any stream) from a university recognized by UGC.
Pay Scale
Pay Scale: PB-II, 9300 - 34800 (Grade Pay - 5400 INR)
Probation Period - 2 Years
JPSC CDPO Exam Patterns
JPSC Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Exam Patterns
The Candidate will have to appear in the following stages and respective subjects/papers to ensure their selection as a Child Development Project Officer (CDPO).
The Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) will consists of mainly two stages mentioned below, followed by Document Verification -
Stage- I: Preliminary Examination
The preliminary exam will consists of Two Papers contributing a totatl of 200 marks having 100 marks each paper.
Paper - I : General Studies ( 100 marks)
- Indian history and Indian national movement
- Indian and world geography
- Indian governance & Indian economy
- History, geography, economy & culture of Jharkhand state.
- Contemporary incidents (current affairs) of state, country and world.
- General science (need not be an expert on this, but must have a knowledge which is expected from an educated person)
- Mental ability, logical reasoning and analytical ability.
Note : -
- Both the papers viz. Paper- I and Paper- II will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based.
- Medium of Question Papers - Hindi & English (both)
- Time duration : 2 hours (each paper)
- An additional 20 min will be given to visually challenged candidates.
Stage - II : Main (Written) Examination ( 400 marks)
Paper- I : Hindi (100 marks) : This will be a qualifying paper and you have to carry a minimum of 30 marks. In case you unable to do, your other paper will not be evaluated.
Paper - II : General Study ( 200 Marks) : The paper II named general study will consist of two paper contributing 100 marks by each-
- General Study - I (100 marks)
- General Study - II (100 marks)
Paper - III : Optional Subject (200 marks) : The optional paper also will consist of two paper contributing 100 marks by each
- Optional paper - I (100 marks)
- Optional Paper - II (100 marks)
The candidate have to choose any one of given subjects below as an optional subject -
- Home Science
- Psychology
- Sociology
- Labour and Social Justice
Stage- III: Interview (50 Marks)
After the successful completion of above two stages viz. Stage-I and Stage-II, the selected candidates will be called for Interview which makes the contribution a total of 50 marks in the preparation of final merit list, followed by medical fitness test and document verification.
