Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) are being established with objective of providing
quality education to the students belonging to Schedule Tribe (ST) from Class VI to XII. This Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) will be
set up at the every block level as a residential school and it will have separate hostels for boys and girls studying there. The accommodation for teachers, mess facility, playground and all other amenities will in line with
Navodaya Vidyalayas.
Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) as being fully residential schools and the teaching and non-teaching staff will required to stay on the school campus for which rent free accommodation as available, will be provided.

Important Instructions
- Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for these posts.
- Qualifications accuired by the candidates should be strictly in accordance with the eligiblity criteria for corresponding posts as per notice/advertisement released by NESTS.
- Probation Period: 2 years- The selected candidates will initially be on probation period of 2 years, which can be extended at the discretion of NESTS. During the probation period, services of probationer can be terminated at any time without assigning any reson thereof.
- The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of number of vacancies for corresponding categories and subjects.
- The selected candidates can be posted in any EMRS across the country .
