JLSCE Exam Pattern
- The Jharkhand Lady Supervisor Competitive Exam (JLSCE )- 2023 will be of Single Stage (Main) Computer Based Test (CBT) Exam consisting of THREE PAPERS in three different shifts.
- In case of the exam if conducted in more than one days, the final merit list will be prepared based on Normalized Marks.
- All the questions in the exam will of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Type Objective Questions.
- 03 Marks will awarded for each Correct Answer of the question and 01 Marks will be Deducted for each Incorrect Answer.
- All the questions will be in both Hindi and English Language (except language paper)
JLSCE Main Exam Syllabus & Pattern
The Main Examination is consists of THREE PAPERS as mentioned below-
Paper - I (Language Knowledge): 120 Questions
- Hindi Language Knowledge - 60 Questions
- Hindi (Unseen) Passage based question - 30 Questions
- Hindi Grammar based question - 30 Questions
- English Language Knowledge - 60 Questions
- English (Unseen) Passage based question - 30 Questions
- English Grammar based question - 30 Questions
Time Duration : 02 Hour
This paper viz Paper - I (Language Knowledge) will be of 'Qualifying in Nature' type and have to carry a total of 30% Marks and this marks will not be added in the preparation of merit list.
Paper - II (Regional Language): 100 Questions
This paper will be of Regional Language and the candidates have to choose any one language among given regional languages below-
Urdu or Santhali or Bengali or Mundari or Ho or Khariya or Kurukh or Kurmali or Khortha or Nagpuri or Panchparagniya or Odia

Minimum Qualifying Marks for Inclusion in the Merit List
- Unreserved - 40%
- SC/ST/Women - 32%
- EBC I - 34%
- BC II - 36.5%
- EWS - 40%
If the candidates are unable to carry a equal or more than above stated marks for different categories, they will not be included in merit list.
